Looks like its back to the drawing board... As some of you know, Ive been talking with some influential people in the music industry who are very interested in working with me towards signing a deal. However, Theyre talent brokers and not label exects. They dont develop like I had originally thought they did and, are more of a middle man with an open door to the people who need to be exposed to my music. Sadly, I doubt anything will come of these talks as they need a radio single from me and the labels wanna play some foul ass elitist bullsh*t and wont even look at my music unless Im working with an industry known producer. Its politics in that side of the game and its redic... The upside is that these guys want me to stay in touch with them because in the event that some serious stacks fall into my lap to afford me an audience with a major producer, theyre positive they can have me signed within 6 months. However, its moot because without the money to invest with an industry grade producer, the opportunity is just dangling in front of my face, slightly out of reach. Unfortunately I cant afford to work with that level of a producer so its back to square one. Back to scrounging any opportunity I can find at the bottom of the barrel, back to climbing a ladder thats missing rungs, and back to wishing I had some kind of way to come up...
