Looks like poor Henrietta may not see the week out. Shes been getting steadily worse. Her comb has gone from red to pale. She refuses to come out of the coop so wont eat or drink and spends all her time on her perch sleeping. Lifted her out of the coop last night (never usually lets us pick her up and flaps and struggles) and shes so much lighter. Her feathers are falling out. I put her on the ground in the garden and she wandered straight back inside. Going to have 3 devestated children if she doesnt make it. Dreading going outside now to open the coop up in case she has died :-(
