Lord I thank you that you are Lord of my life. Forgive me for the times that I have lost faith in you and not trusted you unwavering, for you know what is best for me and the path that I should take. I recommit my life into your hand as you are the potter and I am the clay. For every time and for every aspect of my life that I have been in rebellion knowingly or unknowingly I ask for your forgiveness. For any sins that I have committed knowingly or unknowingly I as for your forgiveness. Help me to trust you completely even when my foundation shakes and the water may threaten to overtake me. For you have promised me in Is 43:2 that when I pass through the waters, I will not be overtaken; and when I pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over me. When I walk through the fire, I will not be burned; and the flames will not set me ablaze. I lay every aspect of my flesh on the altar of sacrifice. And I say that in you I live, move and have my being.
