Lord Knows Why: Taking a walk in the park this thought came to my mind maybe someone needed to hear this. Why do you hate me? Is it the color of my skin or my cleverness scares you. I deserve a chance to be whatever my heart desires. I could read, write, spell and count. But you still never give me a chance. Top position in my class broke records proving I have what it takes. You still never give me a chance. At nights my bed drench in tears wondering why I never get a chance. So I wipe my face, dust myself off and lift my head high. Lord I did everything you ask, why I never got a chance. As a soft spoken voice whisper threw the wind I collapse to my knees. My child you lack “Faith” have not I gave you everything u need. Have not I saved you from the enemy’s schemes? Yes “Lord” u has, but I still do not understand why? My child your future has already been written trust in me. Ok Lord thanks for the word. One more thing my child, There heart fear’s the Greatness inside you.
