Lord, You alone are my inheritance, my cup of blessing. You guard all that is mine. The Land you have given me is a pleasant land. What a wonderful inheritance! ~Psalm 16:5-6 The Lord is our heritage. He is our life! Hes everything to us. All our hope, future, and blessings are in Him. He is our portion! We have a part in Him...a portion which is all we need. We will have all of Him when we are in Heaven...100% God and all His wonderful glory. Right now we have His fullness (we are full of Him) and we have everything we need to sustain us in this life. So when you think about your life, ponder on the fact that the Lord is your portion! You can take a sigh of relief and say to yourself, I am a child of God...the Lord is my Shepherd...and He will be there for me. I dont have to want for anything, my needs will be met. I dont have to stress myself out or be anxious. Dear Lord God, You truly are my portion and my inheritance. Praise be to Your holy name. Lord, You are never far away. You are with me right now.
