Lord, at times it seems like the evil plans and schemes of men and women who are living godless lives will succeed, and Your children will suffer because of them. But I am committing myself to taking a stand on Your word. I stand in agreement with Psalm 91, and I will: 1. Live under your protection and stay in your shadow. 2. Proclaim that you are my fortress and place of safety. 3. Believe you are my God and trust you. 4. Trust that you will keep me safe from secret traps and deadly diseases. 5. Be safe and secure under your wings. 6. Have no fear of dangers at night or in the daytime, because your faithfulness is like a shield and a city wall. 7. Have faith that no disease will strike in the night and no disasters will come in the daytime. 8. Know that though thousands fall to danger around me, I will not be harmed. 9. See you punish the wicked with my own eyes, and I will run to you for safety. 10. Experience no terrible disasters striking my home, my family or me. 11. Believe that you have commanded your angels to protect me wherever I go. 12. Declare that your power will be stronger than the strongest lions or the most deadly snakes. 13. Be safe because I love you and serve you. 14. Call on you when I am in trouble, and you will protect and honor me. 15. Live a long life and live to see Your saving power.
