Lori-Ann, on Friday night, Dad told me a story of a time, years ago, when you all went up by Boarstone/Bodfish Valley to a remote pond, to fish. As you were all walking through the woods and were approaching the water, you yelled I see a shortcut! and you ran off down another path. At that same time, apparently the sound of approaching voices spooked a moose that had been standing at waters edge. The moose tried to make a quick get-away, and ran up the path that you were running down ~ and the two of you met in the middle....with one heck of a loud screech and a whole bunch of commotion!! I was DOUBLED OVER LAUGHING, as this story unfolded!! Too funny!!!
