Lori Lee Hedrick and I met with Frisco ISD special education on Friday. First thing, the waiting lobby at the center looks like something out of a movie. Leather couches and crap, it was by far the nicest waiting room I have ever seen. I kept telling Lori to take a picture and post it. The district must have some serious cash to burn which I dont doubt because they had a chart for the past 10 years showing their growth. I was hesitant about starting her there even part time because the public system freaks me out (even though this is one of the most recommended districts). But her teacher Michelle, as well as the entire school, seems to have their shit together. I was very impressed. Ayla will soon be going part time, and they even provide transportation which will relieve some pressure off of Lori. The amount of shit we went through to get to this point and to find a place in this school district seems is starting to pay off. The district better live up to its reputation otherwise I will burn it to the ground. She will continue at the Wayman Center, and go to preK part time.
