Lori Wallach Boxer It is a significant moment when a publication of the stature of Forbes magazine joins the call for this Presidents impeachment. ... and, as I wrote recently in another commentary, I dont want to hear the b.s. that a D-controlled Senate would never vote to impeach. I don’t give a damn. What the F is going on in this country? Where in the Constitution does it say that for as long as the party that holds the White House also holds a majority in the Senate, any president can commit as many crimes against the people and violate the Constitution with impunity whenever he wishes, because they will never vote to convict their president for political reasons?! If that’s the case, then they are ALL guilty of treason! Furthermore, it is NOT the job of the members of the House to count the votes in the Senate based on political party lines, but rather to IMPEACH when the president violates the Constitution, and let the process play out. I don’t want to hear from Republican Congressmen the crap about ‘it’ll never pass in the Senate.’ My response to them would be: Keep your freakin’ noses in your own house; don’t worry about what they’re doing in theirs. Do your jobs. The members of Congress that DO have courage need to open up this festering boil and let all of the infectious contents spew forth for the American people to see, hear and experience. Nothing should be left off of the table. All of the lies and cover-ups, deceptions and distortions, should be put on public display for all to see. Obama is a narcissistic, pathological liar, and just questioning him for a long enough period of time would have him committing perjury. He would condemn himself soon enough, especially if he was denied a teleprompter to provide him the answers to questions. If the Democrats vote to acquit, then they must suffer the consequences and be exposed as the political hacks that they are in a PUBLIC FORUM. It is the moral and legal DUTY of the House to file the articles of impeachment when the Constitution has been violated, REGARDLESS of the political composition of the Senate. To do otherwise is a gross DERELICTION OF DUTY and is in itself an act of treason!
