Lori update..... After a couple of tough days and a couple of more just okay days Lori seems to finally be on track. Finally they have unhooked her from all IVs, catheters, and oxygen. She was up and about several times today. Sat in chair to her breakfast and then again for lunch. She is actually tasting the food., as she made several comments about something tasting good, or tasted boring, or just okay. We took a walk down the hall and back. Headaches are fewer and farther between. The recovery is far from the home stretch but we are at least out on the track participating in the race now. I am very encouraged by her progress today. Got some rehab to do before we can head home, but the extra time here will make her stronger for when we get there and make it a lot easier for her and the people around her.
