Losing sleep tonight. My granddaughter said she wishes I was her Mom..... WHAT do you say to that? Yes, her mom is a heroin addict, but she is trying (IN JAIL UNTIL December 14 from June 12..) HOPE she gets it! Yes, her father is an addict, that is he is NOT trying (AS IN can NOT keep a job due to his addiction.....can I hear an OH YEAH?.... AGAIN, WHAT do I say to this? FYI: she is not my biological granddaughter....but had/raised her since she was a week old. I have loved this child since she was born....she has been every aspect of mine and Cassandras life from birth. What I said to her was this: Your mommy is sick and will come back when she is well. Your daddy is sick and will come for you when he is better. Zoe is going to be 11 in December......she is FAR from stupid....she has grown up (so far) in the rooms. Zoe does NOT know her parents.....at all. She considers Cassandra her sister....My Dad she calls Poppa Lynch (has since she was old enough to talk!) This is not the FIRST time Zoe has said this; however, THIS time there was something in her eyes. I can not say, specifically, but I can say with assurance that this child KNOWS where to be. I have talked to her Pappy (my ex-husband).....and we just go with the flow. WHAT IS THE FLOW????? I want the best for this kidlet......she is screwed, genetically, from birth. HELP! Zoes paternal grandmother is Kris Morris......ask her, because she us NOT helping AT ALL..... Got a court order today that Zoes dad is facing 2 months in jail! AND he HAS to take a follicle drug test! YEAH.....LIKE HE GONNA PASS....not!
