Losing someone is hard. God did not intend for it to be easy. That’s why he gave us something in return. God gave us the promise that if we serve him and live for him, we will all meet again one day in Heaven. That has been my stronghold. When loss occurs, that’s what I turn to. So again, I understand that losing someone is hard. But, it’s even harder to lose someone when they aren’t ready. When we leave here, we will meet our savior. No way around it. Death is going to happen no matter what we may do to try to avoid it. So I hope that we are ready when it comes. It’s always easier for me to let people go when I know they are running into the arms of an almighty, forgiving, and merciful savior. I pray that eyes are opened and that hearts are humbled. God shows himself when we least expect it. Let’s get things right and be ready to meet the Lord when he comes looking for us.
