Losing weight is not about eating less , its about eating smarter, eating better, making better choices when dining out...its about retraining your mind and body to choose more fruit, vegetables, beans, ground provisions, healthy grains, fish , lean meats and dairy, instead of trans fat laden , sugary and chemical filled foods.. Losing weight is not about dieting: rather becoming more well, healthier, stronger , vibrant, fit and eventually preventing disease. This week choose foods that are natural, read labels, limit processed foods, eat 3 meals per day and include all the food groups..exercise and start feeling good about yourself: Typical Day for eventual weight loss: 1/2 cup oats made with almond or soy milk, or coconut milk 1 scrambled egg with tomatoes, onions, parsley 1 tsp olive oil or sunflower oil to cook 1 pegged orange 1 glass coconut water Lunch: 4 ounces roast fish or chicken 1/2 cup boiled plantain Large bowl steamed carrots and string beans 1 slice avocado pear Greek yogurt with 12 almonds Dinner: 4 ounces( 3/4 cup) stewed black beans 1/2 cup quinoa or brown rice Cabbage salad with lime juice and olive oil 1 slice avocado pear 1 cup fruit
