Lost in reflections... Since Ramadan started, i wished peace in my heart to all my Muslim friends,as every year i do. Now, watching tv news in Russia and (although i am always sceptical about news) i was really surprised and grateful to see a reportage how in Moscow during Ramadan there is place to visit and celebrate it (after sunset) together with the muslim people, where the religions can meet coz Ramadan is a time for positive thoughts and actions. It was so positive all said about this islam tradition, that i started thinking: why there are no positive news about Islam in Lithuania?? I remember when i was in love with a muslim, my mom (Lithuanian) got crazy coz watching Lithuanian news only could learn that muslim ppl are dangerous. Thats so sad.... while i was telling her many lived stories of amazing wonderful muslim ppl i met in different countries (i lived in Turkey, Palestine, have got friends from many other muslim countries), their hospitality, their friendship. Since i started working as a european trainer, i has given many training session on tolerance and intercultural understanding or interreligious dialogue... So, why in more countries there are no positive reportages about muslim traditions,culture, religion? In which european countries do they exist (despite of the money EU spends on tolerance)? In Spain, Canary islands is perfect (thats why i live there)... Are there more eu countries that celebrate in their minds Ramadan with Muslim? I believe, only love and peace is the way...
