Lots new members! Please feel free to introduce yourself in a new post, tell us a bit about yourself and your favorite books/authors/genres and what youre reading now or just finished reading. Molly, Lisa, Janet. (Older members can as well, since its been a while!) Ill tell you a bit about myself: Ive been a reader since I can remember. My first favorite book was Ill Love You Forever, that my mom read to me and it was the first book I ever learned to read. Ronia the Robbers Daughter by Astrid Lindgren was my second favorite book. I read it in second grade, and from then on, I was hooked on reading. My favorite genre of all is fantasy/dark fantasy/fairytale, but I will read absolutely anything (except for fanfiction). My favorite author is Neil Gaiman, and my all-time favorite book is The Princess Bride. I just finished reading The Child Thief by Brom and Sharp Objects by Gillian Flynn. Right now Im reading American Gods by Neil Gaiman, The Art of Asking by Amanda Palmer (Neils wife and lead singer of The Dresden Dolls), and The Hangmans Daughter by Oliver Potzche.
