Lots of car repairs done in the last few days. I was in a minor accident on Friday in which nobody was hurt and I avoided hitting the other vehicle instead taking the curb. It blew out the tire but did not damage the rim. It did damage the control arm so it went into the shop on Sunday and on Tuesday had a new control arm and tie-rod end installed, then on Wednesday it had two new front tires installed and a 4-wheel alignment done. Today I have installed the new clamps that hold down the convertible top, epoxied a few places that were starting to break but had not yet fully broken, installed new weather stripping on both doors to prevent leaks and hopefully make it quieter when driving on the highway with the top up, and along with the weather stripping I used some clear rubberized adhesive to fill in gaps where the weather stripping adhesive cold not fully contact the car or where holes were left, though I installed the new stripping as one whole long piece and will cut it tomorrow after it has all cured where the joints are for the top so it will not tear apart when I go to put the top down. Later today a new driver side turn signal assembly arrives so that will get installed, and the passenger side sun visor will get reinstalled tomorrow when the 3500 pound epoxy fully cures as the part that holds it in place was fully broken in two pieces and I want to make sure it is fully mended before installing it again. I also added some of the clear adhesive to all bolts as I put them back in to prevent them from working loose as I found that several of them were loose while I was taking them out to fix all of that stuff.
