Lots of excitement. Too much for this Nana. Babysitting for our newest grandson, Mark, I heard lots of sirens. Then I heard an overhead helicopter, so I went out in front yard to investigate. The helicopter was red, and at first I thought it was probably a medivac copter, but then it flew away. I went back inside, and then I heard another copter. I went back in the front yard, and it was overhead. Then it dawned on me that it was black and white, and I assumed it was the police. I headed quickly back inside. Ryan called me, and said that there had been a break in in the neighborhood with two men shot and two on the loose. When the news came on in Houston, it had happened only one street over. In fact, the house across the street shares a back fence with the burglarized house, and that neighbor heard the gunshots. After Leah got home, she looked out her front window and there were the news trucks. She and I went out, and I was interviewed on a Houston news channel. Lol. I am not trying to make light of the situation, but if they play my interview, I will come across as a redneck gun toting grandmother. The man asked me if I was afraid, who knows what I said. I did mention there was a gun in the house.
