Lots of fun today. My housemate/neighbor/friend and I explored Berkeley searching for German newspapers (in print!) and adventured to SF downtown and then Polk Street to alas find a print magazine in German for my friend. From there we went to the waterfront and admired the signage for the yachting events on the bay. After a walk on the waterfront (where I found my old swimming hole--read Golden Gate Tennis Club--awesome--it is still there and looks beautiful [but tiny]) we toured the shops in the Ferry Building. Good advice from my friend lead us to a fresh, light meal on the water with perfect weather, lots of people watching--some quite nice in the handsome male category--then returned home. I, of course, bought some stickers from a Russian Hill bookstore, then from the Ferry Building bought some lavender short bread cookies and feel as happy as a 12-year old girl with stickers and cookies. Me loves this life--ignore the bad english construction, go with the flow...
