Lots of people lately have asked about my husbands #seizures. What kind he has, have they calmed down, what does he take? I want to answer some questions for you. In 2011, after 2 years of changing doctors, various specialist and test he was diagnosed with PNES seizures also known as pseudo seizures brought in from his past trauma and abuse. No anti-convulsion meds will ever help him. Therapy and anxiety meds are the only things that help. PTSD can do a number on your body and subconscious. It effects everyone differently. Usually, if epilepsy runs in your family you are more likely to get PNES seizures if you faced trauma in your life. His seizures have calmed down since we stopped using seizure meds and switched to anti-anxiety medication. He still has them frequently at night though. Especially, while dreaming. Doctors believe that will never stop. Its taken a toll on his body. His heart stays enlarged, he has bleeding ulcers and kidney issues. 3 disc in his back are bulging and both his knees need surgery. This is why I fight so hard to end domestic abuse & mental abusive. The scars left behind dont heal. The video below is one of his lightest seizures and safe for viewing. If you have seizures that resemble the video and would like some help please email me at me@kittymccaffery youtu.be/oCUseEp4Unk RiseandStand.net
