Lots of rain last week,stood in the rain last friday watching schools rugby,got soaked but really enjoy watching the boys roughing it in the middel ,in the mud and muck and the odd knuckle sandwich handed out to deserving opponents,its about the only thing i miss about being young,but i can still give some really good advice,the odd slap and tug,and my speciality,the head butt,know wonder i was never very bright in class.What a pity that sport is no longer compulsory at schools,it would certainly trim down the useless youth of today.What i find most disturbing,especially in English medium schools,is the lack of quality sports personell and the disinterest among white English Speaking pupils to play sport,any sport.Its always the black kids at school or Afrikaans speaking white pupils at English schools that make up the sports teams,the English pupils you will mostly find just sitting around playing computor games,listening to music,or just milling around,but play a sport never.These are the people that when they reach there mid fifties,start dying of cancer,diebeties,or heart attacks and strokes,then we are supposed to sympathise with them,i really dont give a shit for these folk.One would think that all humans been the most intelligent form of life on this planet would realise that we have physical body,s,and the only way to keep it in good shape is to get physical.My gripe for the day
