Lots of us are really being distracted with trivial issues that by all standard shouldnt be our business, yes we have left the matters that matters most undone while we are busy serving table. Does anyone still remember the old good days when we use to have the Ekaites and Okons around who were then known for doing minimal house jobs and good cooks but has anyone amongst those of us who have specialty in praise singing taken out time to ask what has become of them of recent? The fact is that Cross River and Akwa Ibom State government along side their River state counterpart have seized the opportunity presented by the Federal Govt to take their youths off the street and those minimal Jobs and those Ekaites and Okons have now become big Boys and Girls, most of them schooling abroad in the name of Militants, but what has the Abia State government done with same opportunity for its youth or is Abia not part of Niger Delta? Am very sure some time some day we will all wake up to realize the fact that those who at some time were looking up to us have gone pass us while we are busy mortgaging our tomorrow for just bread and butter......! Soon these states will produce graduates trained abroad, then shall the saying come to pass where solomon saw Princess walking on foot while servants riding on horses. Wake up guys!
