Lots to be thankful for.....the visit from G-man and his lovely wife, our dinner out tues. eve, Our trip to Temecula via the cemetery , the wed.eve dinner @ Scott & Stephs, the surprise visitor from N.Y. via Sacramento, & L.A. , Who, otherwise would have had dinner alone in some truck stop. The call from my youngest bro., A marvelous Thanksgiving dinner prepared by Steph & her family and all those who helped. Watching the desert rats heading out at o-dark thirty for Glamis & the Big rig leaving right behind them. ( and going back to bed for a while LOL) The great breakfast with my first born grandson on fri. am. (nice for some 1 on 1 time with him) , our shopping trip to the market for some supplies for the hungry bachelor, and the rain that finally stopped and the safe trip home via the cemetery for a nice long visit. All in all I got thru the first Thanksgiving easier than I thought. Think it was due to a change in routine, and being occupied by lots of wonderful folks. Missed Shellie & her family, who visited her mother in laws home and enjoyed all the camaraderie there, We were all blessed in many ways!
