Louie Update! Yesterday we introduced you to Louie, who was surrendered to us severely emaciated and fighting for his life. Today we are happy to say that Louie is slowly improving. He is able to stand for short periods of time. Louie can even take some baby steps with the help of the supportive staff at Veterinary Emergency and Referral Group. His blood work has also dramatically improved. The techs and assistants at VERG will tell you his improvements have a lot to do with head rubs and kisses. We are not going to argue with that. We know that Louie is in the best hands with the staff at VERG and we would like to thank them for all they have done and all they will continue to do to help Louie in his fight to survive.
