Love Her Love David A2J Hi Im 68 years old and I was married to my husband for 51 years of my life. We had a great relationship and he was my best friend. He had just retired from the company did work for for over 45 years. He just had a checkup at the doctors everything came back fine. Were out of the yard working, when all of a sudden he grasped his chest and fell to the ground. I was probably 200 feet from him, and by the time that Id reached him hed already passed away. He had a massive heart attack and there was nothing anyone could have done to save him. It is been two years since my husband passed away and until I found one spark I was just as miserable as I was the day that he died. I dont even know how one spark showed up on my timeline, but one day it did and there was an instant love affair from that point on. I called the one spark office and to my surprise Dave answered the phone. We talked for over two hours and when the conversation was done, I felt better than Ive felt in two years. I called back the next day and told Dave I was not sure how to do a spark. I thought I would take a long shot and asked Dave if he would drive to my town and spend the day with me. Much to my surprise he said yes. Dave lives for a half hours away from me. We set the date and he told me the time that he would arrive in my town and asked me to be ready. I was shocked when he told me to be ready at 9 oclock and would start our adventure. It was 15 days away the date that we set, the spark up my town. Dave showed up at my house 15 minutes early, and waited patiently for me to get ready. He asked me if I had done what he asked me to do, and I said yes! He asked me to bake 12 dozen cookies and write notes with them and we were going to take in hand them out today. We started and handing out the cookies that I had baked, and handing a one spark card with each dozen cookies! It was amazing to me that each dozen cookies that we handed out, I knew that I felt better than the person receiving the cookies. That day Dave and I did 27 sparks, and I have to tell you my wife will never be the same. Some you might be asking why am I talking about day when everything that we do on this page is done in secret. I want each person on here to realize that one spark has changed so many lives, and continue to change lives every day. One spark is not like most foundations that have tons of money. The day that Dave came and sparked we changed 27 lives that will never be the same. My spark to David one spark is to ask each person on here to give 1.00. 5.00, 10.00, 15, 25.00 or more each month to help this great Foundation do the work of God. You see if they would not of came down and spent the day with me, I am sure that I wouldve committed suicide. I asked Dave to post this up, as a favor to me. To allow each one of you to understand that one spark is just not in his hometown, the United States, its all of the world. Thank you day for what you did for my heart and renewing my faith in the fact that I still have a mission left to do on this earth.
