Love... These days we throw this word around like a hot potatoe. One minute the love is hot, next minute its not. Love is not based on the innumerable amount of times you think about that person day to day or the butterflies you feel in your belly while in their presence. In my mind, love is demonstrated via a sacrifice(s). Jesus can certainly attest to this. You want to give of your time, efforts, and resources just to ensure the success and fulfillment of the one you love. Yep whatever it takes just to make them happy. Isnt this what Jesus did for us? He sacrificed his own body so that we can succeed this earthly life and dwell with him in heavenly places. Now thats love. Now ask yourself do you really love that person or is it mere infatuation?
