Love Thy Neighbor was created about 4 years ago, to honor the commandment Love Thy Neighbor..What we do in this group is all about God first and foremost ! We are here trying to bring the good news of salvation to the lost, refresh the unrefreshed, inspire the uninspired...all to honor God for all he has done for us. Yes, we help the needy, thru food, shelter, clothing, bills..we help people get better jobs, therapy, mentor people, go to college..whatever it takes to help our brothers and sisters overcome..and get to a better life..yes!..BUT the core of what we do as a group is help the lost receive salvation...or teach about Jesus..and learn, grow and encourage together as Gods family. I am happy to say we are very close to 1000 members and growing..but I can tell you that its been very sad to see other free sites and sale sites jump to thousands of members overnight..as we slowly trickle a few here and there..HOWEVER I realize..that the Bible says..that the road will be narrow!! And just like in Noahs day..I get laughed at, made fun of..(and it honestly does not bother me) What bothers me..is that...we are accountable ! Oh yes. the Bible says we are accountable for our brothers and sisters..we will be judged for NOT doing our part !! BUT Im here doing exactly what God has told me to do..but it does sadden my heart, that so few are willing to try to save the lost...God is the only one who knows when the end in coming..I know what the Bible says..so are you ready? Or will the door shut on you? This year we are starting a Bible study..and we have many, many outreach projects coming up..if you would like to take up your cross and really just reach out to share the good news and do THE most important thing, THE most loving thing that anyone could do for another human being..then, please, join us.
