Love and law are two words which seem to go together. Despite some differences, one thing is for sure - they are both complex. Love is very much like the law. It tends to overtake our lives without our consent. Everyone in the world is bound by love and law. Committing ourselves to love and law requires us to do an obligation such as what is stated under Art. 1156 of the New Civil Code of the Philippines - a juridical necessity to give, to do, or not to do. Being in love requires us to give ourselves to our loved one unconditionally, without any stipulations and qualifications. Being in love requires us to do things which are beyond the realm of thought, things that we never thought we could have done, if not for the sake of love.
