Love and teamwork Love is a universal language understood by - TopicsExpress

Love and teamwork Love is a universal language understood by all irrespective of any differences. When we read the word love the very first thought that comes to our mind is love between two human beings, but this time is about the bond between two domestic pigeons. Yes, you read right, love between two mere birds and also a team work between their friends. Having stopped by to get water for myself from a cold-store, while parking my car I noticed a pigeon seated on a pipe while another flew to and fro from the ground to the pipe. Curiosity kicked in me and deciding to watch what was happening, I noticed that other pigeons were carrying twigs in their beak from elsewhere and drop it on the ground. So the whole scenario was that the pigeon that was seated on the pipe, a female, was going to lay egg and her mate, the male, was going to and fro from the ground picking up the best twigs he could select from the ones that the other pigeons had dropped down. Each time the male pigeon would take a twig, he would place it carefully near her, trying to cause the least discomfort to his mate. Having to see the compassion and love between two mere birds was heartwarming. Another aspect in this while scenario that I noticed was the team work between the birds for if the it wasnt for the other pigeons, the male pigeon would have taken so long to get his work done. Given a thought if we as human had the same approach towards life as in loving others and being ready to offer help by working as a team, life would be so much less complicated. It is out of out pride that we either hold back from helping others or accepting the help offered to us. Reminiscing the words of Helen Keller, Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much, if only everyone knew the strength of team work this world would be a better place.
