Love is Like a Serenade! So please don’t interrupt it now – don’t you dare rain on my parade… I was feeling pretty good last night… I was into my sweet woman’s attempts to whet my appetite! My appetite for tasty midnight treats, As nothing or no one comes even close to being that sweet! Her sweet sultry voice kept calling out to me… It was much like a dream as she was all that I really did want to see! Other voices were also calling out to me in the night, Suggesting that I should leave her so that I could hold them tight! I’m not sure if it was a nightmare or just a dream… Do any of you folks out there know just what I mean? Love is like a serenade, So please don’t interrupt it now – don’t you dare rain on my parade! Life and love is just a myriad of many quick glances across the Hourglass of Time… I’m doing everything in my power tonight to see to it That my sweet baby remains mine! I’ve got to revisit that ever so sweet moment in time again tonight, And I’m hoping and praying that my sweet woman will reappear So that we can hold each other tight!
