Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Wow, I have failed on so many levels...Patient is not always in my heart, though I may express it outwardly. Sometimes the same is true about being jealous, boastful proud and rude, though I may express them outwardly my heart is not always in it. And as for keeping no record of being wronged,.... well...... About the only thing listed here that my heart is close to is rejoicing when truth wins out over injustice. Thank God He has not given up on me! He is patient and kind He does not keep any record of my failings. Because of His mercy and Grace I do not focus on the past but I press on toward the goal He has set before me acknowledging my weakness and His strength being perfect in me. I am so glad He is a true Father and that He has chosen to love me and never give up on me and that through Him I will endure through every circumstance. Lord I am thankful for your love and the gift of faith you have given me and may I express that faith openly to and may I express outwardly the love that you are.
