Love is the cornerstone of our existence. Without love (for self, life, others, the source) we are not human beings living our true potential. We are but automatons, plodding through our day. Without love we are less; our experience is less; our life is devoid of meaning/substance/grandeur. We all want to live in love, somewhere deep in us we want this. It is just the tapping into this way of being that is hard for many for we have suffered loss, we have suffered rejection, we feel like we’ve been “burned” by love so we turn away from the idea altogether. Or we may go about this idea/ideal half-heartedly and that half of the love is not what we need. Half the love is compassion and then resentment, or giving with the idea of receiving, it is just a half hearted attempt to live the concept of love and that creates stress and strain in the mind/body/spirit for we are constantly looking at the loving way and saying, “it does not work; it is not working for me.” People may say, “I give and get nothing in return; I love and I’m then left vulnerable.” This is okay but this is not the way of love for love is full and abundant. Love is beyond words when applied in its highest form. With love there is no regret. With love there is no stress on the idea of who is doing what in return. There is no return when it comes to real true love. Love just is. Living from love is like living as the god source: it is magnificent, and beyond mere words. Living in the loving light of source is the way of the guru/yogi/enlightened one and even they have problems getting it right all the time. There is greed that sneaks in and insecurities and jealousy that pop in and it takes practice and focus to stay in this love space. Take one day at a time and one second at a time and remind yourself at each junction: what would love do? What is the loving way in this situation? Create loving situations above and beyond your experience of the day to day. This can be generated through art and music and dance and can also be created in helping others, helping the animals and all that is here on planet earth. There is much that needs love: it all needs your loving way. And what does that get you, you may ask? Put yourself in the love space and that question falls away. Be love so you have love around you. Be love regardless of the situation and the idea of results. Be love so that you may grow in the love and light of source/god/goddess. Be love so that all may ascend into a new way of living, loving, being. There are great things found here in our experience: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is . . . you and your working toward love as the ideal, love as the idea and motive for your life; love as the way.
