Love is the only response in our tool belt. When Judas was going to betray Jesus... Jesus broke bread for him. When Pilate was threatening to kill him? Jesus said, this power you think you have, you dont really have it.... but do what you have to do. When Peter denied him and forsook him, even after being warned, Jesus loved him. When he was being nailed to a cross? He knew that we didnt know, and he forgave. We dont entrench against attack (if there even is attack and that is a big IF) we open ourselves up to it. Its the Jesus way.
