Love the docs here. They are letting us take Carter home!! His fever is down and he is acting great. He got a dose of the IV antibiotics here and we will continue treatment at home. This is all happening with the understanding that if he spikes another fever we have to bring him back in immediately. Also, blood cultures will take another 24-48 hours for results. If cultures come back positive for infection, then we will need to come back in for IV antibiotic treatment. Please pray that the fever stays aways and cultures are negative!! Thank you for all the prayers and support today. It has been a very long day. My Grandma had a stroke this morning, so if you could keep her, my grandpa and my parents in your prayers it would be greatly appreciated!
