And I appreciate the song writers desire to express the beauty of worship, but is bowing and kneeling the highest honour? Hebrews 1:3 Jesus being the brightness of Gods glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, SAT DOWN ON THE RIGHT HAND of the Majesty on high Hebrews 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, SAT DOWN ON THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD Sitting at Gods right hand is the greatest honour and it was giving to Jesus. Ephesians 1:20-21 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and SET HIM AT HIS OWN RIGHT HAND IN THE HEAVENLY PLACES , [21] FAR ABOVE all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. Jesus was enthroned! Its sons that sit,not slaves! Hebrews 1:13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, SIT ON MY RIGHT HAND, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Glory to God, we are sons! 1 John 3:1 NIV See what GREAT LOVE THE FATHER HAS LAVISHED ON US, that we should be called CHILDREN OF GOD! And THAT IS WHAT WE ARE! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. We have the spirit of Jesus Galatians 4:6-7 NLT And BECAUSE WE ARE HIS CHILDREN, God has sent THE SPIRIT OF HIS SON INTO OUR HEARTS, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father.” Now you are no longer a slave but God’s own child. And SINCE YOU ARE HIS CHILD, God has made you his heir. And we have been enthroned! Ephesians 2:6 And hath RAISED US UP together, and MADE US SIT TOGETHER in heavenly places IN CHRIST JESUS!
