#LoveYourJourney I cannot wipe the smile off of my face right - TopicsExpress

#LoveYourJourney I cannot wipe the smile off of my face right now!!! This morning, I woke up tighter and leaner and I am just feeling more incredible each day as we get closer to Worlds. I cannot thank Layne Norton enough for his guidance over the last 5.5 weeks. So many of you knew that just a few weeks ago, I was insanely sick, inflamed, and had no shreds of hope left to compete at Worlds, nor was even remotely healthy. The way my body has responded in the last month has been incredible and the peace I have with the decisions I have made is priceless. As I get ready to start my first ever proper, science based, non-guru Peek Week, I couldnt be more excited. In the past, I DREADED peek week. It meant all of the following: ~Fasted Cardio ~Lots of Cardio ~Sodium Depletion ~Water Depletion ~Diuretics or teas to pull water from under the skin ~Asparagus/Fish/Liquid Fat ~Spilling Over ~Muscle flat and not full When I look back at my pics from Orlando when I won my Pro card (and was on antibiotics and fighting an infection and carb depleted), and then when I did my Pro Debut in Montreal and was sodium depleted and spilled over to be taught a lesson about doing bikini, I know that I have not only never presented my BEST self, but also never my best self with my health in tact. Those of you who have followed some of my journey, and especially the last month and the changes Ive made, know what it means to me to do this show, and not just because I get to get on stage. Your support and encouragement has been overwhelming and Im so thankful to be able to share this with everyone, in the realest way that I can. Competing in Worlds means so many things to me... Itmeans I stood up for health and balance, and still was able to make the World Championships happen. It means I wont blow up or rebound after my show or have any of the immensely painful stomach issues I have dealt with each time. It means I can make the move to Seattle with Brad Neeld, and a week later, walk down the aisle and truly present my best self, emotionally and mentally. To me, thats already a win and no matter what happens this week or next Saturday on stage, its just part of this incredible journey we call LIFE. ;)
