Loved Man of Steel. Most insane super battle of all time, taking a long-ago cue from Superman II. Like in the best of the comics, Supes comes off as alien because of his unshakeable moral convictions, which is also the case of Zod, who has a fantastic line near the end and is brilliantly acted by Michael Shannon. And, incredibly, the film was grown up enough to not throw in a "Kneel before Zod" line just to appease the geeks. A couple nitpicky things, dumb last scene, but 8/10
