Lovely Beach Poem written by year 5 students from Bourne Primary School on a SDNPA funded Outdoor Learning Day Deep blue waves crashing, topped with a foamy white icing As blue as a bluebell blooming in the spring The sea was as rough as a brick flying into another brick The warm ocean waves rolled to the beach Crabs swimming in and out by the rocks near the shore The ocean roaring like a lion protecting its pride The shiny waves were as bright as the dazzling sun Hearing seagulls squawking in the distance The sea is as green as an emerald The sea was a turquoise blanket keeping safe the creatures of the ocean The day was great and the sea was as calm as a feather floating in the air It was a very enjoyable day looking at the beautiful sea and the bright sun shining on us. The lovely Holy well let out all of the fresh water. You could make a wish if you wanted. The lovely Holywell. Waves smashing against the shore and the sun shining in the bright blue sky. Beautiful day at the Beach!
