Lovely Feedback from a Mum! The feedback I wanted to give you is about the Behavior Solutions for the Inclusive Classroom book. I had lent it to my daughters year 2 teacher last year but it didnt seem to get much use. This year I again lent it to her her year 3 teacher who is absolutly thrilled with it! Almost every week of first term she told me how helpful the book is (my daughter is her very first autistic student so its a learning curve for us all!) Each time she notices something that my daughter is doing in class she checks the book, adjusts as necessary and continues on. It has made such a difference in our classroom experience. It has been really helpful and reasuring for both her teacher and myself as she grows and changes her sensory/stimulation needs. Last year anxiety reigned, meltdowns most mornings about going to school, transitioning nightmares and failure to work was a constant. This year with the support of an incredible teacher and excellent resources such as your newsletter and books we are having the best year of our school life.
