Lovely day today up at Jaycliffe finished off nicely :) In the field we had the usual fun and games, Aslan played a game with Damion Howard ;) not quite sure who won mind ;) lol x Sookie nearly knocked my tooth out this time ! Ruby (my Ruby, turned around and told randy Jensen to leave her butt alone for the 10th time and caught my hand rather than his mug!! lol luckily it was only a girlie please leave me bum alone....well actually....if you insist...go on then ;) floozie move !!! but ouch !! Gobby Giz never stopped yelling INTRUDER! all day !!! Mav...well hes just lovely ;) coming along great and just a joy to watch him flourish bless him. In the kennel i decided id try and brush some of Aslan.... well...there is a lot of him!!! so i though just start small... i borrowed Aunty Kerrys metal comb and we got to work and he relaxed straight away and sat down ! i kept movements so small and light at first and gave calming signals as well as talking gentle, at first his eyes were like dishes, but soon they lowered and he was nearly asleep bless, i managed to get out most of his dirty scummy undercoat and he is left looking fresh and stunning, i got down some of his bum and back legs as well, after about half an hour i needed to bend my back, ouch lol ;) so i stopped,i thought end on a good note and do the other side tomo??? wrong!!! he went and sat against the other wall exposing the other side !! almost like well come on then woman, get me cleaned up minion! i think we covered about 90% so im really pleased :) he looks bootiful and will go to his new home Wed, Claire has taken off the week to help settle him and Marks been busy making him a seperate area of garden with an enclosed kennel and run should he pref to have his own pad initially :) looks fab and hes going to be fine :) About to go home and Rebecca from Jaycliffe came with the bill for the time from the 12 coming in...up till now.... She and her mum had sorted it for us..... :) and i was told that until the kennels fill up and they need the space.... we can carry on having the block as before for £50 a week :) :) :) initially we had been told that come March, Jaycliffe would need the kennels back and i had suggested that,we would like to stay if possible as homes were not there for all of the babies just yet, but that of course we would pay full, because thats the price that we were actually stopping the kennels from making, by being there ad using up spaces, this is their business after all and they could have changed us daily but they had been so kind... well now they have extended that kindness and i cant thank them enough, we have a roof over our heads for a little longer and the babies say thank you Jaycliffe peeps
