Loving God, you love us tenderly and constantly, as a mother loves the child in her womb, but with a love that surpasses all we could ever imagine. We are your chosen people. You will never forget or forsake us. We thank you for your Son Jesus Christ, the full revelation of your saving love. He trusted in you even in the face of the “gathering storm”. Help us to trust in you and to rely on the name of Christ. He lives and reigns, forever and ever. Amen.
