Loving being 47 Update: Thanks so much to you all for my birthday wishes! I am in an area of scattered wifi connection but strong Nature connection.... ;)... so when I get back to wifi will respond to all of your love! But will just take a moment to say how good it feels to be 47... It is in my 40s that I have relaxed into loving myself inside and out, it is in my 40s I have discovered the lovely balance between child like passion, enthusiasm, looking at life with all its gifts with awe and fascination and balancing that with a wisdom, strength and resilience that comes from having lived through and dealt with some tough challenges... it is in my 40s that I have truly learnt to trust myself and the Universe... And when it comes to age limiting you in any way? Well, I dont that... getting old is inevitable but how we age really is optional! In my 40s I discovered pole fitness (or dancing!), I bungy jumped, para sailed, water skied, jet skied, it took me until my 40s to get a double page bikini shoot in a magazine... ;), in my 40s I still dance like nobody is watching, laugh loudly and often... in my 40s I really have embraced what I talk about and am in touch with my sparkle, let it shine and am not consumed by your opinion of that... so it sure does feel great to be 47!! And I am so excited for the next 47 years. A beautiful day was had yesterday... without a doubt my life feels better from the beach, so that is where it started and then there was a beautiful lunch with family, we were serenaded at lunch by three birds that sat on the railing and sang to us... it was truly magical and was just like we had ordered them! There were hugs from my boys and then at midnight last night we witnessed a beautiful old turtle make the trek to lay her gift of eggs in the sand... and then I looked up and a shooting star from my Flash ( of course)... and so much love from you... thank you so much!
