Loving, energetic, and helpful nanny NEEDED for wonderful West LA family with one elementary age child. Salary is 65K-80K+ depending on experience and past salary history. This is a full-time position requiring TOTAL FLEXIBILITY – both parents work in the entertainment industry and their schedule fluctuates on a daily basis. The perfect nanny can go with the flow and work with the family to provide childcare whenever needed! Duties include full childcare, homework help, extensive driving to and from school, home, and activities, communication with the parents, running errands, grocery shopping, tidying/organizing at home, and cooking for the child. Family has pets – must be a dog lover! Strong swimmer is a must as well. Family travels frequently during school breaks and on occasional weekends – you must be comfortable traveling for up to a couple weeks at a time. The ideal nanny is fun, NOT STRICT, able to go with the flow and adapt to different situations, a genuinely happy individual, someone who instinctively enjoys being helpful and never says “that’s not in my job description”, a team player who can get along with anyone, a nanny who won’t be star-struck, and an individual who is energetic and enjoys staying active and leading a healthy lifestyle. A conservative/strict nanny WILL NOT be the right fit for this family – they describe themselves as liberal, go-with-the-flow, relaxed, and down-to-earth parents and are looking for the same in a nanny.
