Lt. William Anastasio is currently receiving training at the FBI National Academy. While there, he was able to attend the Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington D.C. to honor one of our own. Officer Leslie G. Warden was killed in the line of duty in 1986. Anastasio carried the memorial wreath and set it on the seal as each law enforcement representative recited their oath again. Each student of the F.B.I. academy had the opportunity to mention and pay their respects to those in their agency who suffered a line of duty death. Many attendees mentioned the tragic loss of the countless lives that were lost on 9/11 from NYPD, NY, and NJ Port Authority. It was a very sad, and yet, a very honorable ceremony.
