Lucknow district administration has ordered for closure of all schools from Nursery to Class 12 till January 1, 2015. The order is applicable in all schools affiliated to UP Board, CBSE Board and ICSE Board. All schools are instructed to comply the order. The decision was taken in view drop in temperature in Lucknow, said Raj Shekhar, district magistrate, Lucknow on Sunday. Those schools that have internal exams or some important events lined up during this period may postpone the same. And if it cannot be postponed, then such schools can apply for special permission and decision will be taken on case-by-case basis and looking into the weather conditions of that day.
