Luke 11:28 ~ Jesus replied, “But even more blessed are all who hear the word of God and put it into practice.” Through His Word, God has revealed to us how He expects us to live. He has placed before us a road map to direct our way home, so we must not treat the Bible as a book of suggestions. We must not disregard the words of God that is given to us because doing so is disregarding God. We need to be not just hearers but doers! Speak truth, give without expecting anything in return, keep promises, be patient, kind, always see what is best in others, and love your neighbor and worst enemy.
