Luke 14:28 Jesus said: For which of you, wanting to build a tower, doesnt first sit down and calculate the cost to see if he has enough to complete it? To be a Christian you have to give your all to God. It might some day cost you your life, as it did William Tyndale and many other Martyrs; but your name will be written in the Lambs Book of Life. Its not just about going to the front of a congregation and repeating those famous words those lying preachers say; Lord I confess I am a sinner and I accept Jesus as Lord of my life. That is only the beginning of your walk with Christ. Read Luke 14:28 again. Did you consider the cost? 2 Timothy 3:12 says this: Indeed, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, Believe Gods word, that will happen and if it doesnt you better take a self inventory of your life. William Tyndale was burned at the stake by the Roman Catholic Church for writing the Bible in English. Read what the Catholic Church did to the bones of John Wycliffe after he had been dead for many years. John Huss, was another Protestant who was also burned at the stake. A true believer should not accept any doctrine at face value. He should study to see if it is in the Bible and if it is being interpreted correctly, to see if it is the truth. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Watch out for the Ecumenical movement. IT IS NOT OF GOD! May God give you a discerning Spirit in these latter days.
