Lulu, Suki, Ada and I enjoyed the time we got to spend at Charley Brown Park with Luann, her husband and Belle Snow today. I was so thankful that the weather was nice for our visit, after yesterdays nasty weather and with the horrible cold in the forecast. Luann and I have spent over a month in correspondence about the pups and today was the big day to choose which puppy would be the better fit with their family, particularly Belle Snow, a one year old double merle, who is both deaf and blind, like Suki and Lulu are. Im still in awe of their drive through the night (12 hours) to get here today and then after a couple hours at the park, turning around and driving back to Pennsylvania. These people are hardcore and solid gold, in my opinion. We let the dogs choose, and in the end, it was Suki who seemed to choose to play with the beautiful Belle Snow. Lulu, was more curious about other things at the park. I got some last kisses from little snuggler, Suki, and kept from crying, just barely. It could only have been happy tears, because I could not have hoped for better homes for the puppies so far.
