Lungu Threatens Lawsuit against Post The undeclared war between the now confirmed Patriotic Front president Edgar Lungu and The Post Newspapers has come to the head with the PF leader threatening legal action against The Post if it continues referring to Miles Sampa as PF leader. Lungu who has been on the receiving end of daily scathing attacks from Fred M’membe’s Post Newspapers has through his lawyers H.H Ndhlovu said that if The Post does not stop referring to Sampa as PF leader he will commence contempt of court proceedings against them. The Lusaka High Court today threw out Miles Sampa’s injunction seeking to restrain Lungu from ‘posing’ as PF president. High Court judge Isaac Chali threw out Sampa’s case and deemed his claim as an abuse of the court process. He said that the matter had already been adjudicated on in the same court albeit under a different judge. The Post Newspaper has been referring to Sampa as the PF leader since Monday when he was elected by the second of the PF conferences while the previous day another conference elected Lungu as president. zambiareports/2014/12/05/lungu-threatens-lawsuit-post/
