Lying is as much detestable to God as infant rape is to us. Infact multiply that by infinity and youll sense Gods hatred for lying. Let us quit grading sins, God is not like us, His Holiness knows no bounds. The liar needs as much grace to save him as the serial killer does, for even in revelation we see that all liars will be cast into the same hell that resides murderers and witches. And how many lies must i tell in order to be a liar? One, for Adam and Eve were themselves cast out of the presence of God for having committed one sin. Yea dear friends even this ought to lead you to Christ, it ought to create this earnestness and Godly sorrow in you. Christ wants us to be so trustworthy and truthful that our yes is yes and our no is no and nothing beyond this. O that we would stop grading sins and look at our relationship to God. God help us all
