Innovation is their principal goal; with several musical genres they achieve to make a unique presentation that becomes a pleasant experience for everyone, musicians and public in general. Their members, Juan Rafael Chacón Jiménez (on the first clarinet), Lenin Izaguirre Cedeño (on the second clarinet), Carlos David Arroyo Solís (on the third clarinet) and Esteban Rojas Castillo (on the bass clarinet) have been studying music for more than 13 years since they were young boys. All of them already play on the National Orchestra or at the National Bands that play all over the country. They have played in the most important concert halls of the country, such as the Foyer of the National Theatre and the now called María Clara Vargas Cullel Hall in the University of Costa Rica. Besides, they showed up in the last edition of the National Festival of Arts where they presented a magnificent presentation. In the year of 2012, they made their first tour, in the city of Monteverde of Puntarenas, Costa Rica. They are currently finishing their first recording production, which compile much of the work of the great composer and clarinetist, Vinicio Meza. On the album, you will find known artists of Costa Rica, such as: Vinicio Meza itself, Alfredo Poveda, Checko D’Avila, Lalo Rojas, Juan Carlos Meza (Vinicios’ brother), Arend Vargas, Luis Herrera, Felipe Fernández and David Granados. All of this with the great work of our sound engineer, Erick Román. On this year (2013) they got an invitation to play at the Young Venezuelan Clarinetists Festival, which happens once a year on the city of Caracas, Venezuela.
